somone is a pinhead because my stratus came stock from the factory with a 5 speed. its a 4 banger tho so the gear ratios are going to be off for the power and im not sure about the bolt pattern either.

stratus DID have a manual trans.. But not for year. Im a Chrysler certified tech. It can b done, but will require major modifications. The cost will greatly exceed the value of baby.. I dnt reccomend doing that

later editions of the Stratus had manual trans option with 4 cyl and were mostly auto in the 6 cyl. The ES version had what they called "auto-stick" meaning that you could go auto, but for fun or inclement weather, one could use the "stick" to shift up as needed by tapping the shiter to one side or leave it in a lower gear for better torque and traction. Going from totally auto trans to a manual trans would be expensive and would only be worth it if you were setting it up for racing.
