1989 toyota pickup 4wd v6. I fire it up and let it warm up, and after about thirty seconds it starts revving by itself consistently, and I will be at a stoplight and it will just be revving. It is wasting a lot of gas. What's my problem?

Clean and inspect your idle valve, and your throttle position sensor. Check for vacuum leaks.
