Shift lever on Steering column

Asked by Hathi Jun 13, 2011 at 11:04 PM about the 1998 Dodge Dakota 2 Dr SLT 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How would I adjust the gear indicator (automatic) to align up with my shift lever on my steering column?
I am in drive and the indicator shows me being almost in neutral.
Thanks for help.
