Today my 1999 dodge dakota rt just did it again. Now this the third time the same problem has happened. Engine turns but does not start. I replaced the pcm, idle position sensor, change spark plugs , checked the fuel pump. Need to check the crank, cam. How? Other than that it looks fine. Need him

It maybe ur engine computer failing wiggle the connectors and tap on the computer case if the engine reacts replace it and also if a sensor wire is rub bare it cold be hittin a ground causing a stall fault

Use some starting fluid to determine if the problem is no spark or no fuel.

As was mentioned, first check and see if it's spark or fuel causing the problem. Pouring starting fluid down the TB and cranking is a good way to test. If you rule out the fuel, I would suspect either the coil or cam sensor (pick up plate under the distributor cap). It may also be the crank sensor but it's less likely.
