How far is too far for a 2001 Dodge Stratus 4 cylinder 2.4 Litre in miles?

Question type: Car Customization

I'm currently on a rebuild project of an 01 Stratus it has 176,000+ miles. I was wondering
what the life expectancy was for it in miles before I plug much more into it? Also where
can I get a Supercharger or Turbo kit for one fairly cheap.

Your now on borrowed time. Do yourself a favor. Put your time and effort into a more reliable car. Like a Ford or a Honda.

A supercharger will put a lot of strain on the motor. The bearings will be subject to spinning. If you are determined to get more power out of your Neon, try a low pressure turbo.

I have a 2004 Stratus 4 cylinder x code engine with 336,xxx miles on it, and it still runs great! Has not had valve cover off of it! I'm trying to decide if I should spend $500- $600 to put a new timing belt and water pump on it. It's time for it again
