I've changed plugs, wires, and coil pack but my 3.8 2001 Grand Caravan still miisses and runs very rough. What might be my problem?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

For no apparent reason my 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan, just started running rough and missing,   The check engine light came on for just a few seconds, so I took it to my auto parts store.  They ran it for codes and the codes said number one cylinder was the problem, so I changed plugs.  It didn't help.  I changed wires.  It didn't help. Then I finally changed the coil pack and it seems to run rougher than ever.   What might be my problem?
Thanks      Pete Mills

Check the wiring harness past where it hooks up. That made mine quit smoking and I had an injector stuck open. It still misses but no more smoke. I haven't changed my plugs and wires yet. I just havent had the money cause it put me off work when mine done it.
