2013 Edge Homelink

Why does the ford literature say not applicable when looking at the homelink option if your 2013 edge has SYNC or My Touch? Can I add the homelink mirror to my edge even though I have SYNC. Don't understand why ford says not applicable.

For some reason - Ford made this a factory option that is usually only included on the Limited version.
