Swapping engines is drastic. How about giving your motor some muscle? Find a Mitsu Lancer forum and see what works best for other owners. You can go with intakes, headers, turbos, superchargers, reflashed ECU, nitrogen dioxide, etc.

Try searching for Mitsubishi Forums or Lancer Forums on Yahoo or Google. I did, and a ton popped up.

sell it & buy an Evo. Cheaper than trying to modify an existing platform, & alot less headache
