http://www.dodge.com/en/owners/manuals/2003/Stratus /I went to that, the owners manual Page 6 and there is an icon of a car with the trunk open, labeled Trunk/Deck open, but nothing about the word deck in text on dash.

Mine did that cuz my drunk was smashed in and did not close the sensor is in the latch on the trunk.

Mine was causing my battery to die. I got a whole new trunk and straightened the frame it closed into so it closed and have not had a problem since.

It says DECK because the deck IS the trunk, and IT'S OPEN... If you were in the UK, Deck would indicate that your boot was open. The BOOT is the TRUNK is the DECK. Aft section of your car dude. Unless you have a hatchback, then it's a HATCH. This may be irrelevant but considering the question and the miscomprehension the complexity of our English language, the hood is the American equivalent to the British bonnet. Sorry to be so condescending, but I've come across this thread 50 times looking for a boot lid/trunk lid/deck lid for my '06 Stratus and keep coming across this inane inquiry.
