Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have taken it to mechanic twice and they
replaced camshaft sensor. Not sure if they
have food anything else at all. But check
engine light keeps coming back on
throwing same codes. Could it be a wiring
issue or what could be causing it since it
runs great

Disconnect the battery for about a half hour. That will clear the codes. If they come back go see your mechanic.

Had same problem on 03 neon. Tried 2 each of aftermarket sensors codes kept coming up and running rough at times. Changed back over to factory sensors. Problem solved. I’ve read that aftermarket sensors don’t fall within the computers perimeters. Took me months to finally figure it out.
