My 87' Dodge 318 carbed engine just shut down at 60 mph

I was driving my 87' Dodge truck, 318 with a carb. & going down the hwy at 60 mph & the
engine just shut down like I had turned off the ignition switch. It will turn over & has
compression but will not attempt to start at all.. Any help / advice / suggestions are
appreciated...
