My 08 tribeca blew driver side bulbs like crazy until i bought a quality after market Hid system With a harness so the subaru headlight wires only activate the relay to turn lights on not power.

Bulbs are on full-time so have a short service life. You really invested HID in an 8 yr old 'beca? You must be out of the salt belt.
