why does my 2003 Honda Accord interior lights and key sensor not work when the key is inserted into the ignition?

Take a look at your battery, hose it off and make sure that all connections are brass brushed clean. Do the negative terminal too- Corrosion can take place slowly....then wazoo...nothing :( not too sure on these "soft semiconductor control" devices, but I know when a light comes on.
