i want to fix my transmission problem in my dodge stratus 2005 sxt copue 2.4cl. what advice can i get?

I have the exact same car exact same issue and have talked to several experts on the matter and believe it or not I replaced my alternator on the car and my car is now fixed and been running good for past three months now the way the experts explained it to me is from the 04 model and up the transmission in the car runs off electronics and what the alternator does is produces amperage to run the electric components what my alternator was doing is producing enough amperage to keep battery charged but not the electric components to do with transmission to me when I heard this it was hard for me to believe but after I had the third mechanic tell me this I figured it wasn't that hard of a fix and what did I have to loose sure enough this is what I done and I am glad I did I can now drive my car wherever I want to go I hope this advice helps you
