what is reasonable price for timing chain repair

Asked by Carv77 Aug 03, 2015 at 05:22 PM about the 2007 Suzuki XL-7 Luxury AWD with sunroof

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

local trusted mechanic says timing chain is going out but he is not equipped to do that kind of work.  Took to auto dealer's service department and they checked it and agreed needs repairs and related gaskets, etc but their price seems high
