I have a 1999 Chrysler LHS the anti thaft want let the car start

I turn the key and anti thaft light
stays on and car want start at all
want turn over

Solom,remove the key from car,then remove positive cable from battery,wait ten minutes,then place your key in car and turn to the on position,then replace positive battery cable.
