My 99 Chrysler Concord is running really hot and gauges goes up and down while the radiator bubbles out antifreeze then it stopped on me when it got to hot and bluish smoke was coming from tailpipe

Look underhood for prior overheats...it is this "PANIC" overheat that someone cooled it down with plain water...which rusted your engine block and is clobberin' up the works right now...the "bluish smoke" frightens me...take it to have a coolant flush and new thermostat...and if that does not stop the overheat just take the thermostat completely out...of course will not realize operating temperature @ 195 but will not overheat that way~
