How do I program the Garage door remote

It is acutally a EXL . It has a remote for garage doors, up to three how do i program them?

Hello erichmattice1- I can lead you through part of this process, but you will probably need the owner's manual from your garage door opener to complete the installation. Most modern garage doors have a rolling code and you need instructions from the manufacturer of that device to finish the job. As for the part that is in your car, depress both outside buttons at the same time and hold them in. When the small indicator light begins to flash very rapidly you have cleared the channels. Often you can then depress one of the buttons at the same time that you depress the button on your current garage door opener. The light will pulsate. When it changes again to a rapid flash, the opener in your car is installed. . . but this is where it often depends on what the system you have installed in your garage requires.
