Question type: General

I heard that what your car MPG reads when you get it is about what you can expect. Mine had 200 miles on it and read 21 MPG in the fuel efficiency area. I have put 1,000 miles on it and am averaging 25 MPG. This is far from what I expected. Also the back windows stick in the down position periodically. The dealer says that is normal!

Windows that don't work properly are not normal. Especially on a new vehicle. I'd say your gas mileage is normal. I get 20 MPG around town & 25 on the highway with my '08 Mercury Grand Marquis. Your gas mileage may go up once the vehicle is broken in. My Mercury has just over 39,000 miles on it. HTH. -Jim

Something is amiss, you should be getting close to 39MPG combined Highway and City with the Hybrid. Clear the mileage when you fill up next, if it's still low have the dealer look at it when you take it in for the windows. Oh BTW, find another ford/lincoln dealer in your area, your current one doesn't know what they are doing.
