2011 G37 Window

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I went into the garage this morning to head off to work. First thing I noticed was my drivers window was all the way down.  Looked over and so was the passenger's front window.  Key fob was inside and not anywhere near the car.  Wife didn't do it.  I never leave windows down in the garage.  It is a 2011 Infiniti G37S Convertible.  Any ideas?

The only ,thing i can come up with,is someone bumped the fob,the night before, and window,s went down.

I thought that would drive all windows down? Rear windows were still up. I'm curious now. I've been reading up on similar issues online, and it seems that when people are having issues with windows lowering on their own, that the temperature is in the freezing range. We just got into the low 30's too.

No first click, unlock driver door only, second click all door,s,third click both front window,s,fourth click back window,s,if programmed right.

anyone else have any ideas? I'm absolutely positive the key fob had nothing to do with this.

Whoa! Hope that never happens to my 2012 G37 Coupe! Since I don't have the convertible ..I can't speak directly on any issues related to that. I'd consider having the window switches and wiring checked out...could be something faulty. Good luck with that! Loving this car so far :)

(2 years later...) in case you haven't figured it out by nkw, it has to do with a few things... while the door is open, you hold the button up or down after the window reaches its range will "un-calibrate" it, or if you turn your car off while your door is open, then close it, the same will happen. I have both an 04 G35 coupe and a 11 G37s coupe and both have done it. If you find the right mechanic at a dealer, they'll be nodding their head in confirmation before you're done explaining. :-)
