sounds like a poor connection somewhere , body ground, maby a crowded connector, ck. if battery under rear seats is good,if i remember correctly it is, with prone connectors

I've seen this occur, bought a NEW ecu and the problem persisted. It was all caused by a bad ground. ECU couldn't think straight--too bad we couldn't return *NO RETURNS on electrical parts" these things don't usually go bad by themselves, y'know.
