oil pressure switch

changed oil pressure switch on my 2008 dodge ram 5.7 hemi
because the oil pressure went to 0 after engine warmed up..no engine noise..changed it with a dodge part too..and it is still happening what is the cause now,,,any ideas

Your oil pressure is valved either at the oil pump or oil filter housing. Valve may be stuck open. Outside chance oil pump drive shaft is broken from the pump sucking up something it should not have.

Is the oil pump working? but the new switch is reading "0" as well...

put a manual gauge on it make sure your pressure is good maybe you have a bad gauge

joemom you must have mis-worded your answer. I have a lot of respect for your posts. But maybe re-phrase that....? If the oil pump was not working...failed... the the engine would be destroyed in a minute, You know that my friend.
