I have a 2005 ford freestar and the engine skips/stutters when i get up between 45 and 65 mph...any ideas?

Sounds like a misfire, Check the codes and inspect the coils and plugs. Replace the plugs if you have over 60K.

ok, thank you ... the car has 165K on it ... what would be the 2nd thing you'd try if the plugs and wires don't work?
