I have to say your question is kinda crazy...why aren't you fixing up the caddy? it's not going to be easy to put another motor in it's place...suggest you stick with how it's designed.~

He's looking for a motor to put in his 1994 chevy pick up. He's making a show truck.

Find a good wrecking yard near you, call and ask about any high performance corvette motor with transmission of your choice, six- speed manual recommended but that's just me. Follow your dream, immediately forget what anybody who gives you advice that goes against your dreams says to you about anything, I'm 70 and burning the candle at both ends! I just unsuccessfully bid on a 1966 Imperial convertible on eBay, am now negotiating with two classic car dealers on 1966 Caddie convertibles and a 1951 Mercury while currently owning a 2004 Mercury Marauder, 1971 Aristo Craft Nineteen 165 hp sedan/ convertible I/O boat and a 1965 428-4 with four speed GTO!

I've had a 59 pontiac 60,000 miles, taken out of commission by a rented Dodge K-car, a 1960 cadillac ran still after rod bearings were cooked, 1961 Plymouth Fury 1961 Olds Dymanic 88 75 Triumph spitfire 1968 Mercedes 230s a dozen volkswagens and now a MINI~...damned cars!
