My 2010 Cadillac STS won't crank over

When I push the start button I get no crank I
hear a noise from the starter but that's
about it

First charge battery or get a jump if vehicle starts check voltage from alternator should be charging at 14 volts and remove and clean battery terminals also check voltage for battery. If still will not start most likely starter.
