What can be done with my dash lights for the speedometer?

Asked by beady Nov 04, 2013 at 09:26 PM about the 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid AWD

Question type: General

I can not read the speed on my speedometer during the day. All I see are the lighted spikes. I do not have running lights, so the headlights are not on during the daytime.
I have had to put stickers on my dash for 40-50 & 60 mph. This is ridiculous for the calibre of car this is.

Others have had this same problem. I think Ford needs to do something about it.

It is just a poor design in the instrument panel. probably th change in color of the numbers to that blue from the old green. another problem I don't like is that when the lights are turned on the instrument pane lights dim down. I would like to control that myself..
