2.4l 4cyl in 2009 vs 2.7l 6cyl in 2008

Asked by Amer Dec 05, 2011 at 08:40 PM about the 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara Xsport 4WD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am trying to choose between a 2008 Luxury  or a 2009 X-Sport.  What is the opinion regarding the 2.4 4 cyl in the 2009 vs. 2.7 6cyl in the 2008 relative to the 2009 brakes and noise improvements.  Which is the better choice?

I have a 2009 Luxury V6 3.2l. It depends on what your uses are, the 6 will give better towing and highway performance, which was my selection. I think a 4 might be under powered for it's weight.

You go to the auto parts store and the nice man behind the counter sells you the parts.
