Is Hill Assist standard in the 2007 or 2008 base Mini Coopers?

Is Hill Assist standard in the 6 speed 2007 or 2008 Mini Cooper?  Edmunds and Yahoo list it as standard but Mini website does not even list the feature.

The above poster is absolutely incorrect.  It is NOT a standard feature.  The Hill Start Assist feature is part of the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).  Whether it's a Cooper or Cooper S, if you get DSC, you get Hill Start Assist.

BRAD IS INDEED CORRECT HOWEVER, WHAT SHE MIGHT BE READING IS THE FACT THAT THE MINI COOPER CLUBMAN AND THE MINI COOPER CLUBMAN S COME STANDARD WITH THE HILL ASSIST. IT IS AN OPTION HOWEVER IN THE REGULAR COOPER AS WELL AS THE S.
