I changed the CV half shaft on the passenger side of my truck. I had to remove the lower shock bolt to to remove and install new half shaft. The problem is I can't get the bolt back in the shock mount

I take it you have the rig off the ground in the front and blocked properly, just use a jack and raise the axle just enough to put in the bolt.
