will a 2012 F-150xlt rear bumper fit on my 2008 F-150xlt??
I bent my rear bumper & don't want to put a claim on my Ins.. I can get a bumper off a 2012 for $100., better than $500 for a replacement, the dealer say's it won't fit but it matched up perfect. I think it's just bracket location is the reason, what do you think??
If not mistaken the rear bumper on the f150 (2010 anyway) is a two piece bumper. one on each side. If you you have a two piece bumper it may fit.
Disregard. Just did a little checking and it appears the chrome xlt bumpers fit from 2009 to 2013. Missed it by one year.
I took old bumper off & it's excatley the same except mounting bracket's so I bought 2 bracket's & welded them on & it's perfect!! I pd.$100 for it on craigs list. The dealer wanted $590. & kept telling me it won't fit,no matter what I did. YA,RIGHT! theyll never touch my truck for any repair's.
