I have a 2008 pontiac solstice. How do I remove cruze control buttons in steering wheel.

Buttons on steering wheel stick due to soda drink spill.  Need to remove and clean buttons

If it were me, I would buy electrical parts cleaner in a spray can, and clean it that way. Do not remove the buttons, just soak them down while still in the wheel.
