how much oil with a new oil filter

It takes 4.8 but 5 qts is close enough. keep a eye on the oil level nissan 2.5 and 3.5l like to burn oil even the new cars. most will go through 1 qt every thousand miles. dont get me wrong they are great engines they can be oil hungry though.

the manual doesn't say anything about servicing the transmission -- but my repair man says it's good "protection"? He'll charge $170 for what he calls "service transaxle"
