Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am looking at buying a 2008 Taurus X. I love the car its in great shape and I love the layout. My question is while at a stop sign I had my break pressed lightly the car was at a stand still and none was around and so I was checking out climate control when the wheels screeched and the car shot forward with my foot on break. The freestyles had this issue I found out after getting online had any X owners had this happen and if so what was the fix.

I'm thinking the same thing. The sales guy talked to ford and is going to have them look at it. He also got a case number for it with Ford. I told him that if they find something and can fix it then yes I'm interested but if they don't find anything then no I'm not.
