on the 2008 saturn vue what transmissions Have the issues of failing

The CVT. Constant velocity transmission. Greatrns when it works however when it has problems(and it will) they are ridiculously expensive. You can't rebuild it. You have to replace it with a new one. I'm gonna ballpark it at around $3500-5000.

I don't know of any 2008 Saturn Vue that has a CVT transmission. Don't somem of you do any research before asking a question about your vehicle?

Geno, calm down. The saturn vue and ion both had CVT transmissions. You are correct the vue did not have a CVT in 2008. I have a lot of knowledge about vehicles but it might be off by a year or 2 sometimes. Nobody's perfect
