Help me install the front shocks of my 2008 Grand Marquis/crownvic.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'e asked this question before but the answers were short and not specific. I searched youtube and found a video on changing front shocks on and older model (93--97) where the bottom shocks are held by two nuts compared to my 2008 which has a bolt and nut.
Please give detailed steps with pictures if possible or direct me to a link as this is my first time doing this job>

Ok. DISASSEMBLING STRUTS IS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS! If you don't have a Strut Spring Compressor - DO NOT ATTEMPT IT! Don't take the nut off of the top!

I change Front Struts, Upper Control arms, Lower Control Arms and Stabilizer bar links and bushings on Police Interceptor Crown Victorias at a rate of approximately 10 sets a month. Without a hoist, stands, allen wrenches, Impact Guns and most importantly a $400 strut Spring Compressor I wouldn't even try it. You can try it at home but I wouldn't - and I have 30 years of experience and work on these things every day.
