07 1500 SLT will not engage in 4WD. Selector switch just blinks and 4wd light blinks on dash

More than likely your 4wd actuator in the front diff is bad. Pull it out and plug it in, turn the key on and have someone put it in 4wd. See if the actuator works or not.

Mine did the same thing and it turned out to be the TIPM (power control module). Went through 3 new ones and none of them fixed it, Doorman is the only brand I can find and evidently they have an issue. I know it is the TIPM because I took one off another truck just like mine and it worked perfect.
