volt meter

when idling or at a red light.my volt meter lowers to about 10 to 11 amps also hums but as soon as i take off it goes to 14 amps. i do not have any problems starting the car at any time. can you please help.

I have a 05 ls and it does the same thing i do not know either...sometimes in the morning i notice it cause i will see my head lights dim and the gage drop then i will climb back up to 14

sounds like u need a new alternator there dude, i known s-10's to do that a lot.
