It depends on where you live. Get a second quote. Don't mention the first quote when you go to the new place.

are there more options? is there a OEM factory rebuilt? chevy Dealer price ? look around and ask where the dealers take their cars for service too (yes, they do have work done at a outside shop).

That seems quite high, usually you can find one in a junkyard for $500-$800. But a rebuild should be about $2000- $2500 depending whats all wrong with it.

Hear a bunch of cleaning inHear a bunch of clinging and rattling everytime I hit the gas.so I dismembered both CV axles and dropped a differential where the noise was coming from I troubleshoot the problem checked the flywheel and the torque converter everything was solid when I dropped the differential there is an axel coming out of the transmission which I can wiggle and move around look inside of the differential everything looks good and solid should that axle coming from the transmission Sliding into the differential be loose or is that my problem 1 answer
