when to change timing belt on 2008 escape

The 2008 Ford Escape does not have a timing belt, they use a chain, and they are not a required maintenance item. You usually replace those when the stretch or fail.

Dealer says rotate the tires. That did nothing. Goodyear dealer say needs new tires. Of course that's what he does, sell tires. Tread is still good but rides harsh and noisey. 43,000 miles.
