How do you reset warning lights when the problem no longer exsist?

Asked by GEmC Apr 13, 2008 at 12:31 AM about the 2007 Chevrolet Impala LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I cant get the warning lights for my spare tire and oil change to turn off and I am wondering how.  I have already changed my tire and had my oil changed, but the lights are still there.
If you could answer this question that would be great.

Thanks so much,

May have to have dealership show you how to do it, not sure how GM has these set up on the newer cars.

It depends which radio is in the car you can reset it by the radio otherwise with key on engine off hit the gas pedal to the floor 3 times with in 5 sec your owners manual should give you step by step instructions paul
