The base is a 2.4L 4 cyllinder while the GT has a 3.5L v6

The GT also has a performance transmission and the 4-Speed Automatic Tapshift.

Transmission. The V6 has ecogearing, and the GT has performance gears. Also, the GT has tapshift where the V6 does not. Other than that, the same car. The suspension on the GT is also a tad lower to give more handling control.

Gearing is the biggest difference other than the motors. GT has higher gear ratio for acceleration and the base a v6 trims are lower for fuel economy
