Was the outside temperature/compass availabe on the 2007 model?

I am looking to buy a 2007 Mercury Mariner and one of the options that I can't live without is knowing the outside temperature but I can't seem to find one with that option. Was it available in the 2007 or not until this year with the amenties package.
