My hummer3 needs leaf springs, how much should they cost? My mechanic is charging me $950 for the job. Does that sound fair?

You can purchase OEM leaf springs for around $200 per side with all the extra hardware too. Install/Labor cost is the rest...I'm sure there is a matchup on the parts.....http://www.newgmparts.com/auto- parts/2006/hummer/h3/suspension/suspension-springs-and-related- components/?trim=base&engine=3-5l-l5-gas
