I installed a battery in backwards in a 2000 land rover discovery 2 The horn honked before I was able to remove battery terminal. Now car won't. Starter will not turn. Dash board lights still work. What did I blow out?
Probably the main fuse off the battery.
Did the battery survive? you might consider a load test to see if it has any guts left. then chargereee~
the alternator has six diodes that do not like to be reversed...they may be okay....crossin' my fingers-
you have also run the risk of blowing the ecu
R6 in under hood box. click the image to see it
