Question type: Maintenance & Repair

for about a month or so, when i tried to start it,  the car would turn over but not fire
up,  i thought fuel pump,  then one day i was driving to work and i when around a
turn and tried to accelerate and it just bogged out on me,  now it just turns over
with no fire up.  i changed the fuel pump, and was able to drive it home ran alittle
smoother than before, then when to start it the next day and same problem no fire
up,  i have new plugs and wire, even when and bought a ignition coil that didnt
solve the problem,  also when i changed the fuel pump i changed the fuel filter
and fuel stainer aswell,  i really need help with my car winter is coming soon and i
have no car,  no money for a shop, just enough to buy a part and fix it myself.  is
there a way to test a crank or cam position sensor without a engine code reader?  i
dont even know is there is a check engine light on because it wont start up and
run.  any advice would be much appreciated.

the bogging out, when i had the issue on my 06, was when i checked the PCV valve and the EGr, both needed to be repalced, the pcv valve wasnt giving the radiator enough coolant so it would top out on the thermostat, then the egr valve wouldnt open for the pcv valve and in turn blew a water pump... but the same thing was happening to me... unfortunatly i didnt get as far as the car not turning over anymore...
