No power

My boyfriends Chevy lumina has no power
when he gives it gas goin down the road it
will hardly go and he holds it to the floor I
can literally get out and run faster than his
car what's the problem

Could be a plugged catalytic converter. Just look under the car when it ben warmed up and see if the cat is glowing orange.
