REVERSED AND CAR DIES

Backed out of driveway into street & car will not go into gear & dies & will not restart. Automatic transmission readout in console shows squares, but no gears show up (no reverse, no drives, no park)

sounds like battery has been sitting and dead flat,needs a slow charge ,may save it connect a lightbulb between charge wire and battery on + side and set a low charge hope for 1 or 1/2 amp for an hour or so to get it going,or install a fresh one to energize the pcm and everything,the security is maby trying to go off also

yes, jimmy's right the battery voltage should be checked and would hazard to guess could use a full nights charge up to where it's not drawing any more amps!
