2000 9-3 rear seat release

The rear seat of my 2000 9-3 convertible will not release when I insert the key into the key hole. The left side releases but the right side does not.  Suggestions.  Vince

I just went to try mine and noticed that the key hole is spring loaded. This means you must turn the key clockwise and hold it while you fold down the seat at the same time. I have a 2002 and there is just one key hole on the drivers side, none on the passengers. I know this wont help you as you have one side that works while the other doesn't
