I need heat very cold winter

2006 lincoln zephyr I warm the car
up for atleast a half hour before I
start driving. Get in heat is blowing
cold air. I start driving the air is hot
stop at redlight it will start blowing
cold air. Once I am back moving it
blows hot

Is eather you are low on coolant or you thermostat is stuck close that happended to me when i stopped it blew cold and when i drived it blew hot so o check my coolant but it was still doing the same thing i went to autozone and but a new thermostat and changed it and boom hot air started coming out
