2002 jaguar x type 3.0

I just re[placed the battery In my 2002 jaguar x-type and there is absolutely no power at all, if I connect jumper cables to the battery the dome lights come on the gages light up and windows go down but if I go to start the car theres no power it just clicks and that's all and the connections to the battery are nice and clean and everything is properly hooked up im at a loss and hopefully someone can help

Also I know you said the battery was new but that does not mean that it is fully charged have it checked again to make sure.

Make sure all your battery cables are tight. a cable can appear tight and still not be. Use the right wrench and be sure.
